Jeff Fisher 'Surprised' Vince Young Not Around for Titans' Games
Vince Young continues to surprise his coach. And in this case, the "surprise" isn't necessarily a pleasant one.
Young, the Titans' quarterback who was placed on injured reserve three weeks before with a thumb injury, hasn't join,participate,take part ined a game since. And while that's within the Titans' guidelines for players on injured reserve,NIKE TURBO Shoes, coach Jeff Fisher sassist,help it's still unexpected.
"I am surprised he is not here," Fisher sassist,help Friday, according to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean, a day behind,NIKE TL Shoes,at the back of the Titans lost a sixth consecutive game,nike air max 2009, 30-28, to the Indianapolis Colts in Nashville.
"He was not told to not be here, but again, he is following the guidelines of what we do with injured-reserve players. We have several players that are rehabbing outside of Nashville that are not here for games and we have handful of players that are here on the sideline and are here for the games.''
Wyatt reported that Young has spent most of his time since the injury in Houston, and that he and Fisher haven't spoken since a locker-room altercation between the two following a 19-16 overtime loss to Washington on November 21. Young was placed on injured reserve two days later.
On the day behind,at the back of the injury, Young was demand,inquire,questioned to leave the team's facility, Wyatt reported.
"I don't know what his issue is," Fisher sassist,help. "I am coaching this football team. My door is open. I am not going to go out of my way to (meet with him) because that doesn't have any bearing on what is going to happen tomorrow or this weekend or over the next three weeks. He is welcome to come in if he wants to."
Fisher also sassist,help Young's future will be greet,salute,hail,welcomeed "when the season is over."
"It will eventually be greet,salute,hail,welcomeed," Fisher sassist,help. "There is no rush right now as far as the last three games are concerned."
